Uses: Abrus precatorius roots are used for gonorrhoea, jaundice and haemoglobinuric bile. The oil extracted from seeds is said to promote the growth of human hair. Abrus precatorius is also used as an abortifacient, laxative, sedative and aphrodisiac.
