Description:- Herbs or subshrubs. 1.5 m tall, young stems and leaves dusky grey or whiteish villous, snowy or silvery wool, stem frutescent towards base and full of pitch, erect, 4-angular. Isophyllous, petioles 1.5 cm long, blade long ovate, 5-8 x 3-4 cm, acminate at apex, truncate, slightly unequal at base, margin irragularly cuneate, densely yellow white hairs adaxil, white wool on nerves abaxil; lateral nerves 9 each side, and convex abaxil. Flowers usually 3-fld. cymes clustered on terminal panicles. Bracts linear, 1 cm long, densely hairs. Pollen grains ellipoid, ornaments with bands.
